了解及物動詞和不及物動詞

及物動詞 [T] (Transitive Verbs)

Transitive verbs require an object to complete their meaning. The action is transferred to someone or something.

及物動詞需要一個受詞來完成其意義。動作會傳遞給某人或某物。

Example: She bought a book.

例句:她買了一本書。

"A book" is the object receiving the action.

「一本書」是接受動作的受詞。

不及物動詞 [I] (Intransitive Verbs)

Intransitive verbs do not require an object to complete their meaning. The action stays with the subject.

不及物動詞不需要受詞來完成其意義。動作停留在主詞身上。

Example: She slept.

例句:她睡覺了。

No object is needed; the sentence is complete.

不需要受詞;句子已經完整。
